A couple of needles and some thread later, they topped Wing's arm off with bandages.

"Damn, whatever that stuff was its effective, I can't feel my arm." Wing remarked, resting his arm in a makeshift sling. "C'mon, let's go check on the major dragons, then we've got to move."

Rhaegos and Rade nodded in agreement. Wing shakily stood up. He had lost enough blood to make himself feel a little out of sorts, but he had to keep moving. His body would catch up with him eventually.

The other two walked slightly ahead of him as he stumbled on his first few steps, but he got back into rhythm and caught up. The trio walked into the center guard room where a couple of hybrids were taking inventory of what was available. Wing saw a couple of small piles, one  of tazers next to a pile of tranquilizer darts and a couple of air guns. Non-lethal, but it should do.

The center room was a relatively small rectangular room mostly for monitoring the two containment rooms, but was also the room they would take dragons out through, thus the weaponry. Wing saw on either side of the room were the food dispensers. They must have also loaded them up in this room.

They turned around the center computer and into the major dragon containment cell. Wing had never seen so many dragon's both hybrid and not all in one place. While the hybrids were the size of a human, the major dragons were about the size of vans. What seemed like a large room to Wing was quite cramped to them.

They saw the other guard underneath one of the major dragon's paws, pinned down. He wasn't moving. The trio went over to where many dragons of both kinds were grouped, where Wing's father was.

They pushed their way through the crowd to get to him. His wound was much worse than Wing's. There was blood everywhere.

"Dad!" Wing shouted as he hobbled up.
There were two hybrids stitching him up with the tip of a tranquilizer dart and an unraveling guard uniform. Another major dragon sat by his side, she was a medium blue in color, and blue eyes to match. She looked a couple years older than Jargon.
Wing approached Jargon, who's head was resting on the female dragon. He groaned in pain, but didn't appear entirely conscious. Wing figured it must have been the tranquilizer dart.

"How is he?" Wing asked the female.

She looked at him with sadness in her eye.

"You called him 'dad?' What a fate for your entire bloodline to end up in this place." She said almost mournfully in a surprisingly deep voice. Wing realized he had never heard a female major dragon talk before.

"But will he be okay?"

"Much blood has been spilt. Only time will tell." She paused before continuing. "You must be Wing. I am Saf." She nodded her head.

Wing nodded in return. "Greetings."

The two hybrids who were working on Jargon's arm finished, stood up and turned toward Wing. Zarlex spoke first.
"It's pretty sketchy to be honest, but it should hold so long as he isn't too rough on it."

A girl that Wing didn't recognize spoke after. "We quintuple layered ever inch, which should keep it in place, but we aren't working with great materials here so..." Her voice trailed off.

"Hey, I don't know how you two managed to do it with what we had, but it's brilliant, thank you so much." Wing shook their blood soaked hands.

"Ready?" Rhaegos asked Wing who was wiping his hands on his sling.

"As I'm gonna be. Let's escalate this."
breaking out

i've been told my chapters are short. this is one I could probably combine with the previous one to make it decently sized. oh well, I'll get to that later
